Viviangirls: I wish they were playing again next week

A couple months ago, a good friend of mine was telling me how much this band sucks. I figured he was right, because he usually is. Then I saw them for a second at SXSW, because they were playing like 5 showcases a day or something, and I was like, "Meh, this isn't really my thing." But then, wouldn't ya know it, I saw them Tuesday night in Minneapolis and they were AWWWWWWESOME. They were way more fuzzed out and post-punk sounding, and generally had a lot more going on than the stuff I'd heard before. I would strongly recommend going to see them. They've got loads of US, UK, and European tour dates which I didn't bother to put in any nicely formatted list because frankly I just want to read Dangerous Liaisons and watch The Daily Show. I think you can figure it (the dates) out.
