Wow! What a shocker! If that was a surprise, you might want to sit down for this next part. OK. Are you ready? Here it goes: Michael Dracula is not an individual. It is not a man. And it is not the bloodsucking lord of the undead. No. Michael Dracula is a four-piece from Glasgow, and the first new signing to the legendary NY no wave/mutant disco label ZE Records. Their debut, In the Red, is out now, and from what I've gleaned from their myspace page the album pretty much sounds like old school ZE artiste Cristina fronting, oh, say...PIL. Anyway, all in all good stuff.
