If we've learned anything from Leopold von Sacher-Masoch's cult classic Venus in Furs, it's that some people enjoy pain, and that masochism can inspire a pretty awesome Velvet Underground song, and some likewise excellent cover versions of said VU song. If you fall into the former camp (although I mean, of course you could fall into the latter camp simultaneously, but that's not really what I'm trying to talk about here), then it's very possible you will enjoy ultra loud/abrasive Tokyo noise punk group Melt Banana. They're on the road to shatter eardrums and drum up interest in their latest, Bambi's Dilemma.
